What We Offer

Comprehensive Care, Custom-Built for You

We provide specialized rehabilitation services including:

Mental Health Support

Counseling and peer support for amputees and their families, led by a therapist who understands limb loss firsthand. We help patients work through the emotional side of recovery, not just the physical.

Prosthetic and Orthotic Support

We work directly with your prosthetist and orthotist to ensure the best comfort, alignment, and function. We communicate as one team to improve your experience and outcomes.

Gait Training

We teach you to walk with the most efficient, effective, and natural gait possible with the prosthetic or orthotic device you use. We also train clients who do not use a device to walk.

Dry Needling and Cupping

Trigger point dry needling and myofascial cupping for muscular pain, tension, and movement restriction, used alongside manual therapy and exercise.

Vestibular Therapy

Treatment for dizziness, vertigo, balance disorders, BPPV, and post-concussion symptoms, delivered by a specialty-trained clinician.

Training Options

Our training programs include Balance, Strength & Flexibility, and Functional Training to help you improve movement, build strength, increase flexibility, and move more efficiently and comfortably in everyday and recreational activities.

Post-Operative Therapy

Personalized therapy to restore strength, mobility, and function after total joint replacement, rotator cuff repair, or meniscus/ACL repair.

Whether you’re recovering from limb loss, adapting to a prosthesis or orthosis, managing a neurological condition, or working toward greater independence, our team is committed to helping you achieve your goals.

Who We Are

Specialized therapists.
Compassionate care.

At Prosthetic & Orthotic Therapy Specialists, our lead clinician has 26 years of focused experience rehabilitating clients who use prosthetic and orthotic devices. We are licensed therapists who specialize in this work, and we pair that skill with a genuine commitment to each patient’s quality of life.

Prosthetists and orthotists collaborate with us to make sure the device your patient uses fits, aligns, and functions the way it should. We do not operate in silos. We work as a team so every patient reaches their best outcome.

We accept

Medicare and Workers Compensation.

We accept Medicare and workers compensation. We are a preferred out-of-network provider for Tricare, which usually means less coverage than an in-network plan. Self-pay options are available. We will tell you what is covered before treatment begins.
